In Spring 2022 the Dutch Association of Municipalities VNG released a white paper for guidance to municipalities that intend to apply (or already apply) crowd management technologies. The senior researchers of the AI-MAPS ELSA lab discussed this white paper in a Meeting of Minds with the VNG representative. The VNG benefitted from the comments for the production of the public consultation version and the researchers summarized their comments in a separate document in Dutch; “Antwoord op de consulatie door de VNG; een position statement”.
