Kostina Prifti, a doctoral candidate at Erasmus School of Law, has published two new articles related to Digital Governance.
The first article titled “Regulation by Design: Features, Practices, Limitations, and Governance Implications” aims to give a qualitative synthesis of the existing literature on Regulation by Design(RBD). The article gives an overview of the core features of RBD, after which RBD practices and limitations are analyzed. The second publication, titled “Towards experimental standardization for AI governance in the EU”, proposes the introduction of experimental standardization to better face the legislative challenges of AI in the EU. This method that is based in theoretical and practical developments in experimental governance, legislation, and innovation, allows for better output and throughput than the currently used harmonized European standards.
