On 1 June 2020 the Inaugural meeting of the Knesset Internal Affairs and Environment Committee was held via zoom, a real example of how parliaments can work – and enable public participation and deliberation via online technology. Oren Perez took part and argued that it would be wrong to look for short-term ways to help industry by relaxing environmental regulation.
