online CCP 16th Annual conference 8-10 july 2020 with contribution of pinar akman

From 8 – 10 July 2020 the 16th Annual Conference of the Centre for Competition Policy (CCP) will be organised online. CCP’s annual conference is a flagship event for fostering exchanges between professionals, policymakers and academic researchers. This year’s topic focuses on vertical relations and platforms. This year’s conference will be online, and will be comprised of three two-hour sessions, one per day on 8/9/10 July. Sessions will run 15:00 – 17:00 in London time. On 9 July, Pinar Akman will take part in the Panel on Agency with a presentation on ‘Online platforms, agency and competition law: mind the gap’. Her presentation will disseminate her research on the legal characterisation of online technology platforms and the implications of this characterisation which was recently published in the Fordham International Law Journal and available to download here: https://ir.lawnet.fordham.edu/ilj/vol43/iss2/1/.
